Awe Kid follows up his Body Logic album on Atomnation with a slick new two-tracker. Both tracks are inspired by early cosmic misadventures and make their own way through deep space in a much smoother fashion.

Awe Kid's lush Body Logic album dropped in April last year and was followed up by a remix from Max Cooper. The album was a conceptual exploration of the intersection between trans-humanism, evolution and digital immortality, all served up in a melodically rich record filled with dreamy moods and grooves. Sine Language Records co-founder Rick Parsons has now been back in the studio and working up more magic using his array of samples, modular hardware, found sounds and digital tools.

With 'Laika', Awe Kid takes listeners on an emotive journey powered by crisp and kinetic breakbeats, soaring analog synths and pensive vocal samples. It's a journeying track that sweeps you off your feet and keeps your mind busy with myriad astral details. Meanwhile on the flip side, 'Félicette' is a gorgeous ambient crescendo defined by a haunting piano lead. It's a delicate but powerful track that leads you toward deep inward reflection before casting you adrift into cosmic unconsciousness.

This is another artful outing that shows two different but equally special sides of Awe Kid.
